Kids up to third grade may be dropped off at 6pm and pick-up is at 8:30pm. Cost is $5 per child with a cap of $15 per family. While you are out with your date and enjoying some “kid-free” time, your kids will be having a great time playing, making crafts, eating pizza, popsicles, and popcorn, and watching a fun “big-screen” movie. As always, you are welcome to drop off your child/children for only the movie portion of the evening free of charge (movie begins at 7pm) and a permission slip is still required.
Permission slips are available outside of Pastor John’s office and online at www.welbornechurch.org in the “Forms” option. Please register by Wednesday, June 20th. Space is limited to the first 20 children with signed permission slips. Payment can be made that evening at drop-off.
Children’s Church—Join Us!
The Nurture Committee defined objectives for our Children’s Church and Sunday School ministries. Doing so helps eliminate reduplication, ensures similar practices between leaders and maximizes our available resources (namely the energy and creativity of those leaders!) The greatest change is that Children’s Church takes place in the parlor for all potty-trained children ages 3 through 3rd grade with greater emphasis on the ceremony of the Methodist Church. Students in 4th grade and above are asked to remain with their families in the sanctuary so that they will be better prepared for their time of service as acolytes. 9am Children’s Church will be released to the Kidtastic Sunday School program. 11am Children’s Church will be quietly returned to the sanctuary at 11:50am to receive the benediction and closing prayer with their families.

Join us at Children’s Sunday School with an engaging new curriculum. Who’s invited? ALL children 3 years old through 5th grade. When will this take place? Sundays at 10:00 a.m. Where will it be? In the Education Building, Rom 202 for Preschool and Room 207 for K-5th grade.
